We couldn't sleep for the last two nights. Guests upstairs had a party all night both times. They weren't especially loud, but with no soundproofing, we could hear every conversation and movement. One bedroom is raised and sits right below their toilets, so you can hear everything, which is disgusting. The first night, nobody was staying above us, though we could still hear noise from other apartments. There are no curtains either. Management acted like we were the first to complain about the noise. They also claim to have a night security guard, but when I called at 1am, he only showed up at 5am and banged on our door instead. Don't stay here, it's not worth losing sleep.

The building, which dates back to around 1900, has an old-world feel, and its elevator seems like something from another era, almost like stepping into an old movie. We stayed in an immaculate, spacious apartment for 8 people, with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a big living room with a fully fitted kitchen. It had everything needed for cooking. The location is excellent, so you can easily walk to Barcelona's major attractions.

The owners were very nice and supplied everything we needed. The apartment was huge and in a pretty nice part of Barcelona. Even with all that space, I wouldn't recommend it for a big group, since it was almost impossible to talk at night without disturbing the doorman.

It's well located near Placa De Catalunya, with a very good Korean restaurant called Corea just a block away. The apartment is big, with beds for up to 16 people, and seems like a good option for a large group. I didn't stay there myself, but visited friends who were staying there for an hour. The photos make it look a bit better than it is, and it could use some maintenance and freshening up.
