Plaza España Apartment

The neighborhood was dirty and felt unsafe to us, and it was a long way from the city center, even with bus stops nearby. The building itself smelled awful, and we saw dead cockroaches in the entrance hall. Inside, the apartment was much smaller than it appeared in the website photos. It hadn’t been properly cleaned: we found candy bags under a bed, cockroaches in the apartment, and insects got into the breadsticks we’d bought and eaten from in the kitchen, so we had to throw away the whole package. The toilet paper had already been used, and there was no shower gel, shampoo, or conditioner. For our three-day stay, we were given just one towel each. We paid almost €1000 for three nights for four people. One bed frame was broken, and my friend fell and hurt herself. She was terrified. The two single beds were small and old, and their frames wobbled when we sat on them. The man who handed over the keys was rude and unprofessional, and seemed to laugh at us while he spoke. It was a horrible experience.
