Getting to the apartment means climbing six floors, which the website never mentions. Inside, it smells musty and shut up, and there aren’t enough fans. The kitchen looks 40 years old and has no equipment. Floors are dirty, with broken tiles, and the windows don’t close properly, so street noise comes through. It was odd having to go somewhere else to collect the keys. They don’t keep bags at checkout either, so make a plan for where to leave yours.

The area is lively all the time, and there are lots of historic places near the hotel. A very nice place to stay while visiting.

The beds were comfortable, at least. The rooms were noisy and dirty, with old furniture and old bathroom fixtures.

The terrace was the only acceptable part. The apartment is run-down, with old furniture and very little ambient lighting, and it smelled of sewage as soon as I walked in. I’m an architect, and I think they absolutely need to replace the plumbing system. During the day there was a strong urine smell, and at night we could hear shouting. It felt very unpleasant and unsafe. The location was awful 😣, and we won’t be returning. I absolutely don’t recommend it. My mom is almost 70, and nobody told us we’d have to climb six flights of stairs. We paid 100 Euros per night, and the apartment left a lot to be desired. It felt like a rip-off, and we had a terrible few days. I completely agree with my mom. A neighbor knew the building access code and helped us get in because the intercom wasn’t working properly and kept cutting out.
