Mari is the kind of host who follows up before, during, and after your stay and even arranged a birthday present for my friend turning 30. She is warm, thoughtful, and caring, and feels more like a friend than a host. We stayed at yök for that birthday, and since I'd been once before, returning confirmed for me that it's the best place to stay in Barcelona. The apartment's eco-conscious design and attention to sustainability reflect a real connection to Barcelona's culture. It's in a lovely 19th-century building, with details that feel carefully considered. This is a meaningful, responsible way to experience the city, rather than a typical hotel or rental. Stay at Yök and you'll probably find yourself returning. I know I will. Highly recommend!

Just got back from our yearly stay in Casa C. It's the coolest apartment in Barcelona, and Mari is always so welcoming and helpful. The place is bright, clean, and well equipped, with spotless bedding and spacious, comfortable beds. After a long day exploring, it's such a homely place to come back to. Almost a shame we spend so little time in such a great pad ;-) Andy

The terrace was a lovely spot to have coffee or get some work done, with a nice view. Inside, the room felt spacious, the beds and mattresses were comfortable, and things were generally quite clean. The hosts were welcoming too. We enjoyed our stay.

The apartment made a great base for exploring Barcelona, with the Gothic Quarter nearby and the lively, up-and-coming Born neighborhood close too. We spent five wonderful days there. It was bright and full of character, with mosaic floors and stained glass, but also had useful modern touches like keyless entry and an ensuite bathroom in each of the four rooms. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, and the place was very clean. Our hosts were attentive, shared tips for restaurants and attractions, and communicated fluently in English. A great fit for UK and North American travellers. Highly recommend.

Sandro was incredibly helpful with advice on how to make the most of our visit. We stayed two nights in Casa B and were really impressed by the service, quality, and location. The apartments have been renovated with a lot of taste and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Everything we wanted to see was nearby. We'd absolutely come back.
