Jose is a pleasure to deal with, and we’ve enjoyed staying in this lovely house so much that we extended our visit. It’s in a quiet residential area, a good fit if you want a more peaceful holiday away from Benidorm’s hustle and bustle.
4/10
The location is the one good thing, but I wouldn’t go back. The towels were filthy, and the kitchen utensils were even worse. The beds and mattresses were very old, especially the bunk bed, and the kitchen and bathroom badly need a thorough clean. Check the additional conditions carefully before booking. I don’t understand how users have rated it so differently, with an average of 8.6/10 on Booking.com.

The host was really friendly, and the location is the one thing this place has going for it. The house is old, which I could have overlooked, but it was also very dirty. The towels were dirty, the pots and pans were too filthy to use, springs were sticking out of the mattresses, and the bathtub was chipped.

We were happy with our stay and had nothing to complain about. The apartments are in a quieter area, yet the old town and its nightlife are still an easy walk away. Getting to the beach takes about 10 minutes at a relaxed pace, with plenty of stalls selling souvenirs and all sorts of useful and not-so-useful things along the way.
