Everything is within walking distance, so you’re close to it all.

Eva, her daughter, and the cleaning lady were incredibly friendly and kind. Eva helped us throughout the stay and showed us how to reach the main sights and what to eat. The experience wasn’t bad, but if you want the quiet and privacy of a hotel, this probably isn’t the right place. It’s a room in a home shared with Eva and her daughter. When I visited several years ago, there were also visitors, and it felt uncomfortable to keep running into strangers. The room is next to the owner’s, so you can hear the TV when it’s on, and at night we felt we had to talk quietly so as not to disturb her. The bathroom was clean, though it could have been better, and there were hairs in the shower. The room itself was fine. The website, when I visited in 2018, didn’t say the owners lived in the house. That was only explained in a WhatsApp message Eva sent after the booking, which I didn’t like. It also advertised parking, but it was just street parking, and said the place was accessible for people with reduced mobility, despite being on the first floor with no elevator.

The terrace is lovely for meals, and the place is clean, bright, and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. It’s near Cuenca’s historic center, in a quiet area with views of the Júcar River, making it an ideal base for visiting the city.
