Life Magenta

They didn't get the heating fixed until around noon on Saturday, after we spent Friday night freezing. The place itself is nice, but it needs maintenance and better management. There's nowhere to wash dishes, barely any games or books for kids, and nothing to cook with. The microwave hardly warms anything, there are no napkins, and the placemats are dirty. There's no shower gel or shampoo either, and it was freezing cold.

The staff were lovely, but for what we paid, the room was completely unacceptable. First, we couldn't get in because neither the key card nor the code worked. Customer service were all very nice when we called, and since the door seemed to have been forced open, we had to use a trick to open it. After that, the toilet kept running and it was incredibly annoying. I called, and they told me to turn off the water and so on. Then, when we went to shower, the water wouldn't drain because the showerhead was clogged with a ton of hair. I even have a picture, since I had to pull it out by hand. I don't think there could have been a worse room. Just horrible.

The location was good, but parking was difficult. Breakfast was included, though it was very basic, and there was no privacy in the bathroom since it was practically as if there were no door.

The only good thing was the location. The room and bathroom were dirty, and the sheets smelled. The bathroom fan looked as if it hadn't been cleaned since before the building was even built. I can understand if a place is fairly new or modern, but not the apathy and negligence toward cleaning. The paid breakfast was cartons of juice and milk left open in a fridge, cheese and ham on a plate by a sunny window, half-empty jam jars, muffins, and croissants. Food safety and hygiene seem like a major concern. Absolutely disgusting, without a doubt the worst accommodation experience of my life. I'd give it zero stars if I could. I hope this makes people think twice before coming. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. Run.
