Suites Campo del Principe

The kitchen had hardly any utensils, and the sofa bed had two old, worn mattresses. There was chewing gum on a small wooden shelf, and the room's air conditioning didn't work. We also noticed a terrible sewage smell in the bathroom as soon as we entered. The apartment and its location were fine, and it was adequately clean, but the phone was just for show and no service was provided. We definitely wouldn't stay again.

It's in a great central spot, but the apartment could be much better. There was hair everywhere and the lamps were really dusty. The toaster was awful and very rusty. If they provide a coffee maker, they should leave capsules too. Oh well.

Cristina was always friendly and helped us work through the problems so our stay could be enjoyable. We first got a ground-floor apartment looking onto a dead-end alley that locals used as a toilet, basically a hole in the wall. I called customer service and Cristina answered; after we talked, she moved us to another apartment that met the expectations we'd agreed on. It's suitable for four people spending a few days in the city centre. It's a little tucked away down a back alley, though there are security cameras. For the price, you can't ask for more.

Juanjo, if I'm remembering the name right, was so kind and attentive. He helped us get tickets and did a thoughtful thing that we really appreciated. The apartment was comfortable, well cared for, and had everything we needed for a very good family stay. We highly recommend it.
