The staff at the hotel were incredible, and we loved our stay. Our peaceful room had exquisite design, just like the rest of the beautiful hotel. We also had great care from the spa staff, and the spa itself was wonderful. A breathtaking hike through pine woods, with deep blue ocean views and crashing waves, was just 15-20 minutes away. We also took day trips.

The receptionist was very helpful when we had to leave early, before breakfast started. They arranged an early breakfast and helped us work out how to get the bus to the train station. Villa Magalean Hotel is in a quiet neighborhood, but only a couple of minutes from the old town, and there’s a nearby elevator so you don’t have to climb the hills. Our room was very clean and had an amazing city view. The Frederic Malle shampoo and body wash were some of the best I’ve used in a hotel.

All the staff were kind, helpful, and very attentive, the best service I’ve ever experienced. We stayed one night and had an absolutely perfect time enjoying the spa and massage. The room was bright and spacious, with an espresso machine, Bluetooth radio, smart TV, and tablet. It’s in a great spot, close to the seashore and the old town in Hondarribia. We’ll definitely be back!
