8 Rooms Madrid

The room had everything I needed and was clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, with good access to the city. From the clear instructions to the smooth check-in, everything felt easygoing, and the atmosphere was relaxed. Great for a hassle-free stay in Madrid. I had a great time at 8Rooms Madrid!

The central location worked well, and we were quite satisfied. It's a good spot for a morning walk in Retiro Park, and check-in and check-out were very easy with no problems. The room was quite small, though. There wasn't enough space to open a suitcase and leave it out. Both the room and bathroom were very clean overall.

If you're taking the train from Atocha station, the location is convenient, though there aren't many restaurants or markets close by. The Prado Museum and park are nearby, while the busy tourist center and Madrid Palace take about a 35-45 minute walk. Our room was clean, but the walls were thin, and from room #1 we could hear everyone coming in and out of the hotel. A little annoying, though not a huge deal. The shower head broke as soon as we used it, but they replaced it by the next night. It's a very basic, no-frills room, fine for sleeping and showering, especially on a budget.

They leave complimentary snacks and drinks, and the hotel is affordable, clean, functional, and well located. The rooms are very small, though, and the soundproofing isn't great. Wi-Fi was down for a full day and had other problems during our four-night stay. I'd recommend it to a budget traveler who wants some privacy, but I can't give it five stars.
