B&B Hotel Madrid Centro Plaza Mayor

I was especially impressed by the coffee and snack bar that stays open around the clock. For me, that’s even better than breakfast. The staff at reception were friendly and really helpful, and the main attractions are all an easy walk away. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The room was a good size and spotless, with fresh towels, crisp sheets, and two cartons of water. The window wouldn’t open, but the room stayed comfortable. There was complimentary coffee, cookies, and water in the shared hall whenever I wanted. The front desk welcomed me warmly and chatted with me, which made me feel at home. I spent one night at the B&B Hotel on a recent Madrid trip, and it was a great choice: right in the city centre and very easy to reach by public transport. Very good value for such a central spot.

Not a good choice if you have mobility issues. There are lots of steps, the coffee corner is on level -2, and there’s only one small lift. The room was small too, and sound carried through the walls.

I arrived very early, so the coffee and juice corner was a nice place to wait for my room. The hotel is great for a two-star, it felt more like three, and it’s right by Plaza Mayor. WiFi was good, the staff were very kind, and the bed was clean and comfortable.
