If you lose or forget your key, getting into the building can mean a long wait or being ignored by the owner or management. There doesn't seem to be any backup plan for technical problems with access. Not worth it.

The rooms were comfortable, clean, and very well kept, and the central spot made it easy to see Madrid on foot. I enjoyed the stay more than I expected and would definitely come back on another trip to the city.
The staff were lovely and even let us leave our bags for free well before check-in. The room had everything we needed, including towels, a hairdryer, iron, bedspread, and soap and shampoo, and it was comfortable. It's very clean and quiet, with an excellent location near everything. Finding the place from the street takes some care, but otherwise everything was perfect.
The room and bathroom were both really nice, and the service was good. It was a bit hot and humid in the room even with the air conditioning running, but that wasn't enough to take away a star. The location is perfect. We'll almost certainly be back, and I'd recommend it.
We had a private bathroom and a balcony facing the street during our three nights in Madrid. The linens and towels were very good, and the modern, comfortable facilities were great. The air conditioning and windows kept the street noise out, even though we were on the first floor. It's easy to walk to lots of sights from here. The elevator doesn't reach the first floor, which is a small hassle getting in, but the staff were very friendly.
