The staff were friendly and helpful, and we were satisfied overall, though the bathroom smell was a real concern. It seemed to come from the pipes and wouldn't go away no matter what we tried. Our small room looked very nice, probably recently renovated, but it had no fridge. The hotel is close to puerta del Sol and the city center, with the metro and shops nearby.

It's cheap and central, so I guess you get what you pay for. My room was small, bare, and not very clean by my standards, and it kept smelling like sewer. Maybe that had something to do with renovations on other floors. The construction was loud and disruptive, with dust everywhere. If I come back, I'll skip it. Anyone looking for luxury should keep going.

The room and bathroom were clean, modern, and practical. The apartment is easy to reach on foot from the metro, with plenty of nearby places to eat and drink and enjoy the local culture. Great value and a handy base for exploring Madrid.

The room itself was okay, but at 100€ a night, this stay was unacceptable. I was extremely disappointed, especially since I can't stand cigarette smells. The smoke odor seemed embedded in the room, and even cleaning didn't help. We asked to switch rooms but weren't accommodated. With the window open, street noise and a constant weed smell came in until 2 a.m. Our neighbors were loud too, playing disco music late into the night, so sleeping was impossible. The room reeked of cigarette smoke, and opening the window wide didn't clear it. Staying here made me feel like a passive smoker. Avoid this place.
