Duplex Atarazanas City Center

On our second visit, the receptionist cheerfully told us we'd been given a better room. It was room 120, directly opposite room 121, where we'd stayed earlier in the week. We had noticed a technician coming in and out of 120, probably doing maintenance. After we showered, water pooled over both my feet and my girlfriend's because the drain barely worked. It did eventually clear, but took about ten minutes. The receptionist seemed surprised when we reported it and offered to address it the next day, since it was Saturday evening. I trusted what he said, but it's hard to believe management didn't know about the problem. Charging €170 for one night without checking that the room was in order is simply a shame. We stayed at the hotel twice during the second week of February, February 8-15. The first stay, in room 121, was uneventful.

The bedroom was clean, comfortable, and perfectly adequate for a city break. We stayed three nights over a long weekend and had a warm welcome. There's plenty of places to eat and relax beside the main food market, and the train stop for the airport is about a five minute walk away. Great location, and I'd book again. Highly recommended.

The staff were great, and the cleaning crew did an awesome job. The location is very good, though rooms at the front face a bus stop, with buses running most of the time. The rooms aren't very big, and the WiFi was unreliable at times. The A/C worked fine, and there's a fridge.

We had such a great time and loved being there. The weather wasn't very good, as expected, so we missed out on a lot and will definitely come back. We spent ages looking for the castle and cathedral before realizing they were just down the road! The location is perfect for everything. The one thing I never managed to find was the beach.
