It’s a small town, so you can walk pretty much anywhere, and there’s a market and bus station across the street. The hotel is quiet and right by the train station, with a large room, a simple breakfast included, and really friendly staff. My only snag was at arrival: I’d sent my arrival time and was on time, but nobody opened the door at first. I waited about 10 minutes before someone let me in. The rest of the stay was fine.

The room was a decent size, though the bathroom toilet seat was visibly dirty. At night, the oddly placed lights caused a distracting glare when I tried to watch the wall-mounted TV from bed. Getting around was easy thanks to the transport links, although the hotel is a little outside the tourist area, which didn’t bother me much. Check-in is online, and you can open the doors with the app or the code emailed to you. Breakfast is free, but I forgot about it and found most of the food gone by the time I got to the dining area.

The breakfast was a lovely surprise, with plenty of choice and authentic sausages and cheese. This is a very small three-star hotel run by an older, very kind couple who clearly care about their guests. The rooms have what you need, including very good beds, working Wi-Fi, a pleasant shower and good towels. All together, it’s an amazing place with a great atmosphere.

The rooms and staff were great, and the location was another plus. We’ve stayed in a lot of hotels, and this was one of the best. Definitely worth a stay. Get breakfast too, it was healthy and full of flavor.
