We stayed here for our last night before finishing the Camino, and it felt like being in a family home. The dinner you can buy was delicious, we had pork loin and a bottle of wine. Fabulous, highly recommended.

The family running the place made us feel like one of their own, and the service was lovely. If you’re from Galicia, it’ll feel like home. For visitors, it’s a worthwhile stop to experience rural Galician life and homemade food, with a connection to local culture you don’t get in a standard hotel. We were very happy with the experience.

A communal table inside and lots of outdoor seating beneath a grape arbor make it easy to settle in. The rooms are simple and clean, and they even have floor fans! It’s family-run, and you can see how warmly they treat each other and their guests. Such a quiet spot, with no traffic or loud bars nearby, and I had one of my better nights' sleep on the Camino. I'd absolutely come back.

I left my glasses behind after an early walk to Santiago, and Beni, our host, drove there to bring them back to me. That kindness and the staff's service made this one of my most memorable Camino stays. The atmosphere felt warm and homely, and dinner was delicious and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend it to anyone walking the Camino.

The countryside around this small, cozy village is beautiful for exploring, and if you ask, they'll let you relax in the yard. I even made myself a sandwich there after a day's walk. This albergue is just steps from the Camino Portuguès, run by a lovely young couple. If you’re heading to Santiago de Compostela and don't want to sleep in Padrón, walking a few more kilometers gets you closer to the next day's destination. The beds are comfortable, and the rooms have heaters, which is special if you've walked the Camino in March. A simple breakfast is included. For a 10€ supplement, village ladies cook a great homemade meal and come chat when they’re done. Lovely atmosphere.
