Sheraton Mallorca Arabella Golf Hotel

The golf courses were a pleasure to play and in excellent condition. One small frustration: pros can only book tee times a day ahead, which makes planning tricky. The service across the hotel was so friendly and welcoming, and we had a relaxed, thoroughly enjoyable stay. Highly recommended.

Parking was plentiful and easy, and we found the location convenient. The hotel feels elegant, with every detail well cared for. Our room had a lovely view over the pool and manicured grounds, plus two balconies. It was spacious, beautifully designed, and spotless. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay at the Sheraton Mallorca Arabella, and will definitely be back.

The spa is the reason I can’t rate this hotel higher. My pedicure cost more than twice what I’d pay at a good salon, and when she said there wasn’t time for a gel pedicure, I chose a regular one. The result looked bad, like something I’d done myself, and my nails were filed so low and roughly that two tore that week. The same spa receptionist massaged my partner; he found it very average and said she wouldn’t stop trying to release knots, leaving him sore for two days. That’s not what you want from a relaxing holiday. The rest of the hotel was lovely. The grounds and pool were clean and relaxing, the food was excellent, and the staff were friendly. Our room was a little dated, but comfortable and had everything we needed. Lovely hotel, just don’t use the spa.

I came mainly for the golf, and the course is beautiful with easy access for players. The hotel is quite far from the beaches if you don’t have a car, though that wasn’t a problem for me. As a Titanium member who stays at many Marriott properties, I found check-in below standard. The staff were friendly but seemed new and poorly trained, and I’d expect more comprehensive English at a five-star resort. The rooms also feel dated, especially the showers and toilets, which could use renovation. The hotel comes across more like a four-star place despite the Sheraton name. Great for golf, but the check-in training and rooms need work.
