Apartamentos Serenity

The terrace looks straight out at Peñíscola Castle, and the views are hard to beat. It’s a really quiet spot up in the higher part of Peñíscola. Getting around is the catch: even though town is a 15-minute walk away, the hills are steep enough that we needed a car the whole time. There’s a small parking area, with one space per apartment.

The apartment was spacious and practical for a short stay, and the price was reasonable. It had the advertised terrace and good views, and most of the furniture seemed fairly new, apart from the kitchen. The people running the place were really helpful and attentive. Carrying a suitcase from the parking spot is a pain because of all the steps, and the mattresses, sheets, and towels could use improvement.

We had plenty of space and the old town and Peñíscola Castle looked spectacular from the apartment. The kitchen was fully equipped, and there was even a washing machine and clothesline. Service was excellent, especially from the guy who helped us. Everyone was very helpful.

We stayed here last year and are definitely coming back. The apartment was fine for a few days, and it’s up in the mountains in a really peaceful area. The owner was so friendly and a wonderful person.
