MLL Palma Bay Club Resort

Our six-day, six-night booking at MLL Palma Bay Resort ended two days early. The place has decent facilities and a good location, and isn't bad in general, but small shortcomings can become real headaches. None of the rooms had a fridge, which meant no way to keep drinks cold, store water, or preserve anything. In Mallorca's heat, that seems like a basic amenity. What really wrecked the holiday was how hotel security handled a complaint from another guest two rooms away. The guard came to our room at night without warning, bringing two police officers. It was intimidating. We were cautioned and warned without anyone hearing our side. Later, the person who had made the original complaint told reception and management it had been a misunderstanding, but nobody from the hotel came to explain or apologize. The guard's behavior felt unprofessional, more like showing off power than trying to sort anything out. Reception listened when we raised our concerns, but management never followed up. We felt so uncomfortable that we left early, losing two days and nights of our stay. I hope management takes these problems seriously. The hotel could be a much better place if things were handled properly.

I spent a quiet, relaxing week there in September and found it very good value. My room was spacious, in the Copacabana building, with a huge terrace and a lovely sea view. The location was a favorite too, just steps from the beach. Breakfast was excellent. The rest of the food was okay, and I was satisfied overall. I'd highly recommend the place.

We were traveling with our eight-month-old, and they made special food for the baby every day at lunch and dinner. We really appreciated that. The manager, a gentleman, was very kind, as was Juan Ramón from the restaurant. Customer service was good, and the food was okay for a three-star hotel. All the MLL staff were so friendly and welcoming. Gracias a todo el personal MLL!! ❤️

We always found sunbeds, and the hotel wasn't too busy. It's close to the beach, and the clean room, made beds, and daily towel changes were a plus. The entertainment staff worked hard and were friendly, though the evening shows will depend on your taste. The food was good, but there was quite a lot of the same sort of thing. For what we paid, it was okay value. The all-inclusive deal felt more like full board. With lunch and dinner you get three drinks, and that rule needs work. Not everyone likes beer or wine, and if you don't drink all three with your meal, you can't get one later outside. I expected to choose local spirits, or have the occasional cocktail, but you have to pay for those. You can get unlimited soft drinks, but only in very small plastic cups. People seemed to bring their own alcohol from the local Spar without anyone monitoring or minding. If you want a drink or biscuit at the bar, don't count on every staff member smiling. Some were rude, and I wondered why they were in the job. For the price it was decent, but I wouldn't return to the area.
