Las Afortunadas

A quiet, small apartment complex where it's easy to enjoy yourself. No reserving sunbeds with towels, no screaming kids, and you can just relax without any fuss. It's near the beach and the center of Cita, with a supermarket around the corner and plenty of restaurants serving cheap but tasty food. You can also cook in the apartment, which has everything, including a coffee maker, kettle, microwave and sandwich maker. Each morning there are two small bread rolls in a plastic bag hanging on the front door, so breakfast can start with fresh bread. Definitely worth another visit, and we'll be back!

We had a two-bedroom apartment and would recommend it. The apartments are simple, clean and well equipped, with a lovely big balcony and a wonderful pool. Shops, Playa del Ingles and the beach are all close by, and Yumbo is about a 10-minute walk.

It's an older complex, but well maintained, with 24 rooms and lots of older regular guests. Rooms are cleaned daily, and towels and linen are changed several times a week. No meals are served, but each person gets two fresh rolls in the morning. The pool is large enough and very clean, with sun loungers and parasols. The complex is close to the beach but tucked into a quiet cul-de-sac, with free public parking. The beach and dunes are about a 10-minute walk away.

We found the location ideal, with the beach close by, free rental car parking right outside, and a supermarket less than 10 minutes away. We stayed at Las Afortunadas from July 8th to July 22nd, 2017. The apartment had everything we needed for two, and the whole complex was very clean with friendly staff. Morning traffic noise was the one drawback, so I'd try to get a bedroom facing the back. Regards.
