Hotel Loaldia

Once we’d checked in and reached our first-floor room, we found it spacious, quiet, and peaceful. The pension is about five minutes’ walk from everywhere we needed, and the receptionist was very helpful with local tips. It was our third visit to San Sebastian, and traffic has got more congested. Parking is very expensive, and the park and ride hadn’t received good recommendations. None of that was the hotel’s fault. We stayed three nights and would definitely come back. It was difficult to find at first because of underground construction in the surrounding streets. Remember to register your car or you’ll get a big fine.

It’s very clean and well situated near the beach, shops, and restaurants. I rarely spend much time in my room when I travel, so I’d put it at 4.5 and would definitely stay again. I gave it a 4 because the price felt high for the amenities, and there’s no AC. The street was busy, so leaving the windows open wasn’t ideal.

The rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable.

The location is hard to beat. Anna was friendly and helpful, and although the room was simple, it was bright and very clean. I had a really nice stay.
