Pension Loinaz

Everyone I met here was really nice and helpful. The place is simple, clean, and convenient. There are four bathrooms for eight rooms, and I never had to wait.

Jose was a great host, friendly, funny, professional, and helpful. He speaks good English and let us leave our bags somewhere safe after checkout before our afternoon flight. We stayed four days over an August weekend. Our double room faced the quiet backs of other apartments, so noise wasn’t a problem. It had roller blinds to block the light and a fan, which we only used twice. The Wi-Fi was good, and both our room and the roomy shared bathroom were spotless. The old town location is excellent, one block from the market, about five minutes from La Concha beach and around ten from Zurriola Beach. Great for walking around, browsing, and getting tapas. We felt at ease there.

The old town location is great, and the staff are very friendly. Everything was clean, from the bedroom and bathrooms to the hallway.

At night, we were left waiting outside with all our belongings and family on a dark, lonely, almost alley-like street while the owner came over from his other hotel. He apparently goes back and forth between the two. I wouldn’t risk being stuck there with your things, at night or even during the day. If you want to stay nearby, I recommend Pension Basic Confort, spelled with an n, right across from this place. I stayed there another time and they were lovely.
