The front desk lady was nice and helpful, but the hotel’s check-in setup was ridiculous. Apparently there was no reception after 4 pm local time. Their online check-in was terrible: I tried it three times and never got the information I needed, so after a long flight I had to drag my luggage to another nearby hotel they also own to check in. I don’t recommend staying here, and I won’t be back. The price was over $100 a night, not even especially low. I also called about something I’d left behind, but was told nothing had been found. It felt like staff don’t turn things in and may keep them for themselves. I didn’t find the staff honest.

If you’re a light sleeper, be aware that traffic noise carries on until midnight, and the poor soundproofing means you can hear what’s happening next door. The location is handy, though: eight minutes on foot to the cathedral and two minutes to the airport bus stop, 6A, Parada de bus aeropuerto. Reception isn’t open all day and night, but the staff are very friendly and helpful.

The staff are very nice and the location is good, but the rooms were so small I had almost nowhere to put my luggage. Breakfast was meager. The beds were ridiculously short and narrow, with what felt like foam pads sliding around on wooden slats. I could hear every footstep from the person above, who started moving about an hour before I wanted to get up. After walking the Camino, you may not mind a few extra steps to reach a better B&B.

After walking the Camino Frances, this hotel felt like a lovely place to recover. It was clean and comfortable, with warm showers and friendly, helpful staff. The city center is close by. I couldn’t fault it and would highly recommend it.
