The charcuterie is some of the best I've found in Valencia, and prices are better than at the central market. There's loads of variety, from fruit stalls to a good gluten-free stand. It's also just a short walk from the central sights. Great market, highly recommend it.

The tangerines I picked up for €1 were sweet and tasty, while the €2.2 empanada was just average. I visited on 14 February 2026, and it felt like a lively local market with a good mix of fresh produce and food.

I’ve been to Mercat de Russafa many times, and the quality and range keep impressing me. There’s seasonal produce, fresh seafood, aromatic spices, local treats, and handmade goods. The vendors are friendly, and the place has a lively feel that makes each visit enjoyable. It’s a nice spot whether you’re shopping for groceries or just looking around Valencia for local flavors. Highly recommend it.
