SingularStays Catalina

SingularStays staff were friendly, attentive, and very helpful. The apartment was in perfect condition and neatly decorated, with two comfortable beds, two showers/bathrooms, and a well-equipped kitchen. The terrace was phenomenal. I strongly recommend staying with them. Thank you.

The location is fantastic, very central and with easy access to the metro and buses. Our room was modern, spacious, and well equipped, the bed was very comfortable, and the daily cleaning was excellent. We stayed three nights at SingularStays and highly recommend it for a visit to Valencia. Thanks very much, and we'll see you next time.

The location worked well, with plenty of places to eat nearby, and the apartment was a decent size with clear house rules. The beds were comfortable and there was enough linen. The kitchen also had the equipment and supplies we needed. Getting inside was a problem, though. The check-in had to be completed on the website before arrival, and the entry codes were meant to come by email. They never arrived in my case. I tried their phone numbers, email, and WhatsApp, but replies were slow. After around 30 calls, someone finally picked up and sent the codes. The washing machine didn't work properly. It either left clothes unwashed or splashed them with undiluted detergent, which stained some items because there was no water. Still, the place was adequately maintained and not a bad base for a stay.

The worn mattresses had deep dips, and the pillows were so thin they gave no support. We woke up with neck and back pain each day. The apartment felt generally tired and overdue for some light renovation. Getting there was a hassle from the start: we had to collect the keys 550 metres away, something never mentioned before booking. With large suitcases, we dragged them through narrow streets, which would be especially difficult for anyone with limited mobility. Check-in wasn't until 16:00, with checkout at 11:00, hardly convenient for guests. The rooms were dark, with tiny old windows that wouldn't close properly, so we had the lights on all day. There was also noisy construction right next door. The narrow street between us offered little buffer, and opening the windows brought in dust and noise from early morning. It made for a very uncomfortable Valencia trip, and I wouldn't recommend staying here. There are better choices in the city.
