The location wasn’t very convenient, especially with so many other choices nearby. My room was hot and sat above a restaurant that stayed open until 11:30, so there was noise until then. Nothing was provided, not even a bottle of water or a kettle. The shower was tiny, and you had to watch out not to knock the handle and scald yourself. The restaurant staff didn’t seem very interested in helping.

There’s a lovely terrace at the restaurant for a meal when the weather’s good, and Vao beach is about a ten-minute walk away, with beautiful views, very white sand and clear water. Great value for the money, and I’d highly recommend it.
