The bungalows are thoughtfully designed, comfortable, and elegant, with wrap-around porches that are perfect for lazy afternoons. Staff paid attention to the details and made our stay feel easy, leaving us free to unwind. There’s plenty to do, from spa massages and swimming in the outdoor pool or lagoon to kayaking and hiking. The food was fabulous, crafted by the resort’s in-house chef with locally sourced ingredients, and we left every meal smiling and satisfied. La Dolce Vita felt like a home away from home. The views are breathtaking and the whole place is made for relaxing and resetting. At sunset, sitting on the dock above the lagoon and taking in the landscape was especially lovely. It’s a place where we made happy memories.

Chef Michelle made the best food we’ve ever eaten in all our years of travel. We still talk about it, and after leaving La Dolce Vita every meal elsewhere felt disappointing. Margaret, the owner, arranged what we needed beforehand, including smooth airport transport and a comfortable, beautiful bure set up for our family. We were exhausted after long flights, but felt welcomed with real warmth from the moment we arrived. Our kids had a wonderful time, with lots to do at the property and nearby. It would also be a peaceful, relaxing trip for a solo traveler or a couple. Even the flight to Savusavu was part of the fun. We genuinely can’t wait to come back someday.

Margaret arranged a fishing trip to a local hidden Salt Lake and a swim at a beautiful rainforest waterfall. It was a great way to see the area. If you want to experience the real Fiji and unwind without crowds, this is the resort for you. We had an amazing stay at La Dolce Vita. The villa was spacious and well designed, with stunning ocean and garden views. We also loved the warm Fijian welcome and Chef Michelle’s organic, seasonal dishes. Thanks again to the whole La Dolce Vita team, until next time.

We loved the calm seclusion at La Dolce Vita. The kids explored sea stars and corals in the vast tide pools and on reef walks, and kayaking in the quiet lagoon became part of each day. For a few magical days, it felt like we had the oceanfront paradise to ourselves. The people made the stay especially meaningful. Owners Margaret and Luigi welcomed us like family, and sharing a teppanyaki dinner and talking for hours over Maotai wine felt like being with old friends. Chef Michelle made delicious meals tailored to our plans, and Maybel, Eleni, and the rest of the staff were so kind and attentive. It felt like a family, not just a business. We recommend the waterfall excursion and snorkeling in Natewa Bay for adventurous families. Divers can reach Rainbow Reef and White Wall on a day trip, and we used Remote Island Dive for pickups. Our family’s stay felt like coming home. We left a piece of our hearts in Savusavu, thanks to the people and the paradise they’ve created. We’re already dreaming of returning. If you want a place that soothes the soul and offers connection, Fijian hospitality, and friendship, this is it.

Climbing up the Gazebo was my favorite part. The view from the top takes in Taveuni and Koro Island, and it’s a must TRY! My family and I stayed at La Dolce Vita, and the tropical views and tranquil ocean just steps from the bungalow made a big impression right away. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, spacious, and well equipped. The staff were warm and attentive, and went out of their way to make things go smoothly. Chef Michelle prepared meals to our preferences, which made the dining experience incredible. La Dolce Vita is a lovely retreat for both relaxation and adventure. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Savusavu. It really does offer a “Sweet Life” in a beautiful corner of the world. Thank you, La Dolce Vita!
