They canceled our confirmed reservation after a dive group tried to book, apparently because the property thought it could make more money. The group made its request well after our booking had been confirmed. These people are painfully dishonest and should be avoided on moral grounds alone. There are better places with more decent people. In their reply, they said people make mistakes. Fine, I understand that. But then they should have told the later group, arriving nine months after our booking, that some of them couldn’t stay at the resort. You don’t cancel on someone whose reservation you’ve confirmed. Yes, they told me ten months ahead. The island is almost fully booked ten months in advance, and I still don’t know if I can find somewhere to stay. I’ve booked every other part of this trip, including a stay in Tonga that I had to reserve two years ahead. I’ve paid for flights into and out of Taveuni, all assuming I have somewhere to stay there because this awful place gave me a 'confirmed reservation.' Again, don’t trust them. They’ll burn you as soon as it stops being convenient or they think they can make more money from someone else.

While we were exploring the southern part of the island, we stopped in for lunch. The welcome was warmer and friendlier than anywhere else we’d been in Fiji so far. Everyone was lovely and offered us the use of all their facilities, even though we were only there for lunch. The meal was good and very reasonably priced. We asked about snorkelling nearby and took their suggestion to go in from the pier. It was amazing. I hope we can come back and stay sometime.

My girlfriend and I had an amazing stay at Paradise Taveuni, and the name really fits. The ocean views were stunning, the grounds beautifully maintained, and the staff warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The dive operation was top-notch, with knowledgeable guides and incredible sites just a short boat ride away.

We came to this incredible dive resort for diving and a holiday with our extended family, and couldn’t be happier with how it went. The diving was awesome, the resort pristine and beautiful, and the staff friendly and accommodating. It made for an unforgettable trip. Thank you, Paradise Taveuni!

The warm, welcoming staff were the best part of our stay. Everything at Paradise went perfectly, from arrival to departure, and the dives were amazing. The dive crew made sure we got to all the different sites, and the snacks during surface intervals were the best, especially the cinnamon rolls. Food service was fantastic, with plenty of choices and fresh salads from their own garden. I had a wonderful massage at the spa with the ocean behind me. Fiji night was lovely, with a traditional kava ceremony and a lovo feast. Thanks so much. We hope to return soon. It really was paradise!
