We booked seven hours of sailing and snorkeling with Paul and Helena while our family was visiting Taveuni. They worked beautifully as a team and spared no expense or effort to welcome us aboard their well-appointed catamaran, "LOOPING." We quickly felt at home. They answered all our predictable questions as patiently as if it were their first trip, and were kind, enthusiastic, accommodating, and responsive to our particular needs. While Paul sailed, Helena prepared lunch in the galley. It was the best meal we had on Taveuni, a creative, beautifully presented international spread with edible flowers and homegrown sprouts. We called it South Pacific-eastern Euro fusion, and it was delicious. We sailed east of Matei to a small atoll, snorkeled alone in a beautiful bay for an hour, then ate a satisfying meal under the awning while anchored there. It was untouched, serene, and relaxing, everything we'd hoped the day would be. There was plenty of sun, too. Paul and Helena were near the end of their season, and we imagine they were ready for a well-earned break from sailing and entertaining. Even so, that day is one of the great ones our family has spent together. Bula and Vinaka vacu levu, Paul and Helena, from our family to yours! Some people have complained about the cost of sailing with them, but this trip was more than worth the price. The equipment, time, camaraderie, kindness, food, scenery, and snorkeling were all first rate.

Paul arranged all our day trips, including Bouma waterfalls, Lavena coastal walk, the water slide, swimming with manta rays, and our snorkeling outings. Heli packed incredible lunches and wine for us to take along. They made everything so smooth and easy that we could fully relax and enjoy our honeymoon. My husband and I had an amazing time at Vacala Bay Resort on Taveuni. Paul and Heli were wonderful hosts, and Heli's food was beyond amazing and delicious. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and rejuvenated. Taveuni is truly breathtaking, magical, and majestic. We'll definitely be back one day!

Paul and Helena are the best hosts you could imagine, and their villa is out of this world. Sailing on their catamaran Looping took us to beautiful snorkeling spots. I'm a passionate diver and have dived in Thailand, Bali, Carribian, and Hawaii. Honestly, nothing comes close to what Taveuni has to offer. Total paradise on earth. Can't wait to go again. Don't miss a visit to Taveuni 💜🐠
