The Champagne House is one of our very favorite stops on the Chemin du Puy en Velay. Martin and Dale made us feel at home for our two nights there. They greeted us with a much needed drink, then showed us our beautiful, well-appointed rooms, including a lovely suite with fine furniture and a very comfortable bed. The back yard was welcoming too, with a pool, seating areas, and sunshine. We had two great breakfasts, and the location is superb, close to the main sites in town. Ten out of ten!

The outdoor areas were gorgeous, with a patio and pool that's perfect for relaxing with a drink, plus an upper terrace that was a real highlight. Breakfast each morning was a treat, with fresh bread and pastries from the local boulangerie, and the afternoon tea Dale and Martin made was unbelievable. We had a wonderful girls' long weekend in Condom, France. The Champagne House is stunning throughout, with beautiful wallpapers, roll-top baths, quirky details, and lovingly restored furniture in every room. Huge thanks to Dale and Martin, the lovely owners, for making the trip so special. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect stay!

We loved the quiet town and found plenty to do. Every restaurant Dale and Martin recommended was a hit, thanks! The trip to the abbey was lovely, and don't forget bread to feed the beautiful deer. We also loved the boat ride and would definitely like to return. The Champagne House itself was gorgeous, the breakfasts were wonderful, and Dale and Martin couldn't have been lovelier hosts. We absolutely loved our stay!

Dale and Martin were fantastic hosts, warm and welcoming. The welcome drink was sparkling, a nice extra. We slept comfortably, and breakfast was excellent. It's a charming B&B in an old house that's been lovingly restored.

Breakfast was fresh and thoughtfully done, and Dale and Martin were wonderful hosts, always ready to help and full of good tips for Condom and nearby. We came as five friends for a girls’ weekend, and the place itself stopped us in our tracks when we arrived. That first glass of complimentary fizz was a lovely touch. Every detail felt carefully looked after. We had such a special stay and loved it.
