The hotel has a good feel to it, and my first stay was fantastic. It’s near the train station and everything else, yet the room was quiet despite being in the heart of Lille. The modern, stylish furnishings were spotless, and I liked the coffee machine and snacks on display. The female staff at check-in were excellent and spoke very good English. My second stay later that same week didn’t match that experience. The man at reception was curt, and it took a long time for anyone to answer the bell. I’d asked the day before about early check-in. They said they didn’t offer it, though they’d help if the room was ready. I arrived around 12.30 and couldn’t check in, which was fine, but I was still waiting at 2.30pm and didn’t get into my room until 3pm. Since the official check-in time is 3pm, I can’t be vexed, but I found it hard to believe they couldn’t help even 30 minutes earlier, especially after I’d asked ahead. I’ve worked in housekeeping before, where early check-in requests were handled by cleaning those rooms first. They did bring my bags up, which I appreciated. This time the bathroom and pillows had hairs on them, and the room wasn’t as clean. It was disappointing because I’d been looking forward to returning. This place seems hit or miss. I still like the vibe, but a few things need tightening up to make every stay excellent.

Breakfast kept us full until lunchtime, with fresh fruit, pastries, eggs, and more. We also appreciated being able to get plenty of coffee, hot chocolate, and croissants throughout the day, handy for quick refuels with the kids. The staff went out of their way to be kind and welcoming. We were a family of four with two young children at Rosa Hotel over the weekend, and had a fantastic time. Our prestige room was spacious and comfortable, just right for a family getaway. Shops, sights, and restaurants were right nearby thanks to the central location. We’ll definitely return!

We had a pleasant stay in a comfortable, clean room with a luxurious feel. The hotel is very convenient for a business trip or weekend, close to everything and especially handy for the train station. Street noise didn’t bother us at all because the windows were so well insulated. I’d recommend it.

The hotel feels vibrant and modern, and its standard seemed closer to four stars than its three-star rating. The clean, comfortable room was in a fantastic central spot, just a five-minute walk from Euralille shopping centre and the Grand Place. A stylish, convenient base for exploring Lille, and one I’d highly recommend.

The lift is very small, so it was a squeeze with all our bags and a pushchair, but that was only a minor inconvenience for us. The room was modern and comfortable, and every staff member I met was helpful and accommodating. I stayed for 1 night, and the location was excellent, just a short walk from the train station.
