Studios Résidence Bernadette

The location is really convenient, with the Sanctuary gate about five minutes away on foot. Carrefour and a smaller food shop on the same street are both a short walk. There’s a little chapel inside the house, too. This was my third stay, and every visit has been really good. The place is quiet, clean, and feels safe. On arrival, the towels and bedsheet are clean. The studios have a little kitchenette if you want to cook, and plenty of places to eat nearby if you don’t. Mrs Elisabeth, the owner, is very nice, polite, and helpful, and gives lots of advice about the Sanctuary, Lourdes, and the area. I highly recommend this accommodation and will stay here again if I come back to Lourdes. 👍👍😃☀️

I’m planning another visit to Lourdes next year and will definitely book with Elisabeth again. This is my third time at Bernadette's Cosy Flat, and I can speak from my own experience when I say I don’t understand the negative reviews. The host provides everything for the bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom, and she’s always shown care and interest. I’ve never run out of anything. The bed is very comfortable, with clean, ironed linens, which matter a lot to me. The apartment is spacious, very clean, and beautifully arranged. Its balcony windows let in lots of light and fresh air. If you want somewhere to pray, pause, and look inside yourself, it’s hard to find a better place.

The photos don’t match what we found at all. Our room was tiny, the mattress was completely worn out, and the sheets had stains. There was no air conditioning or elevator either. We’d booked five days, and they took the money straight from our account. When we arrived and saw the room, we asked for a full refund, or at least half, and said we didn’t mind losing the rest. She answered haughtily and refused to refund anything. Avoid this place and don’t waste your money. There are much better options nearby for significantly less.

A clean, well-located place for a pilgrimage to Lourdes, and breakfast was served well. Thank you to the Bernadette Cosy Fiat establishment for such a warm welcome.
