Hotel Oceania Lyon

The staff were incredible, the kind of people who should be teaching hospitality to other hotels. The hotel has tasteful design and a really cool backyard area. I was in town for an expo, and the location made getting there very convenient. I also had dinner at the hotel one night, and it was excellent. Honestly, better than most five-star hotels. I'd highly recommend staying here.

Right by the metro, this is a great base for a relaxing stay in Lyon. The hotel feels new, with lovely decor and a comfortable, high-quality feel. The staff were extremely kind. Highly recommend.

I stayed for a few days and had a great time. It's a modern hotel with friendly staff, and I could park my car in the garage for a fee.

We picked Hotel Oceania because it was close to our daughter's apartment while she spent a year studying in Lyon, and the location worked perfectly. The nearby metro made it easy to get used to the city's transport and even reach Ikea for her student essentials. Sofia welcomed us warmly at reception in English, one of the many languages she speaks, and made us feel at ease straight away. Everyone we met was helpful, professional, and friendly. Special thanks to the multilingual Maelle, Olivier, Clémence, and James, who works night security, for going out of their way to help us. The rooms were spotless, well presented, and brand new, with everything working perfectly. Breakfast was fresh, plentiful, varied, and delicious. I thanked the manageress when we left, though I'm sorry I didn't get her name. She has a fantastic team and hotel, and I'd be delighted to stay again. I have no hesitation recommending it. Merci beaucoup, à la prochaine, j'espère.
