There’s a secure car park and good transport right outside the shopping center. The hotel is inside the center, so there are lots of food choices and amenities. We even spent an hour in the arcade to get out of the heatwave. Our clean, comfortable room had a mini fridge and a nice river view. The staff were friendly, and the bar area was great.

Parking felt worry-free, since you can leave the car somewhere safe, and it was a big plus that the place welcomes pets. We only stayed briefly. The room was nice and mostly clean, though there was some dust on the carpets. Breakfast was above average.

6/10
The room was spacious and the location was nice, but several things made the stay frustrating. Only one lift was working, and you need it just to get from the entrance to reception. You can’t use the stairs before checking in, since they’re only for guests. Reaching the parking from level 0 is also a mess: you have to go up to reception on level 2, then the route goes up before it goes down. The room’s AC instructions were unclear, and it didn’t work the way they said. Dinner was disappointing too: the fish was overcooked and had bones.

8/10
The room was fine, and the restaurant has a nice view over the river. The entrance is the weak point: the lift is tucked at the back of a plain foyer with no sign that stands out, and the area in front feels scruffy and industrial rather than welcoming. For a tourist looking for local restaurants rather than mall options, the location isn’t ideal. The riverside walk is OK, but not as pleasant as the area near downtown. It’s handy for the Confluence museum, which is worth visiting, though I wouldn’t stay nearby just for that. The tram is about three blocks away, so with lots of luggage you’ll probably want a taxi.

We had a roomy room with a good bed and a really nice shower. The staff were very friendly, and breakfast was good. It’s a modern hotel beside the river, with parking underneath and a tram stop to the city center close by.
