Hôtel Haussmann Saint Augustin

The location is excellent, right by the Metro, and there are good places to eat on the Parisian streets nearby. We also appreciated the free coffee and tea in the cosy foyer, along with the lovely biscuits. It's a 3-star hotel with 5-star service. Every staff member was cheerful, helpful and fantastic, and they really made our stay. We'll definitely come back when we're in Paris again. Merci Hotel Haussmann Saint Augustine. We own hotels in Greece, so we know the industry, and this boutique hotel really impressed us. We've paid much more at other Paris hotels and received much less than expected. Here, the prices felt fair, and the room rate was among the cheapest we found in Paris. Don't let negative comments put you off, they don't match our experience. A modest entrance hides a real treasure. The staff were the kindest I've ever met. Reception, concierge, cleaners and waiters were all there for guests around the clock, always smiling and eager to help with every request. Their warmth made us feel wonderful. The rooms were beautiful, brand new and spotless, with a musky smell, lovely bedding and a great mattress. The bathroom had new, wonderful materials that worked well in a modern way. Heating was just right and adjustable to guests' needs. It was our first stay, and we didn't expect to be so lucky. The hotel is unique and unrepeatable, right in the heart of Paris. Congratulations to the whole team. This success must have taken effort and love from everyone. You're a wonderful team, and you make for a lovely holiday. You're the reason I want to visit Paris again soon!

The bathroom was small but clean, and the air conditioning worked well. The carpets, though, were filthy. The room felt like a single room with a double bed squeezed in, and outlets were only on one side of the bed. Coffee and tea were provided for just one person, though luckily we each had a towel. We arrived a little early, with a couple of hours before check-in, so we left our luggage and went to lunch. My husband had booked through work, and we were surprised to learn there was an extra charge for two people. The staff came across as snooty, though one woman was nice. The walls seemed to carry every sound. We could hear people in the hall as if they were in our room, and conversations in other rooms were easy to follow. It was especially bad in the middle of the night, when people came back drunk from late dinner.

Great location, clean rooms and comfortable beds. I hope housekeeping gets a raise!!!
