Hotel Luna Park

The bathroom was fairly clean, and at least the heating was on. But the room was tiny and quite filthy. The bed was especially dirty, with hairs on it, and the mattress was a futon.

The night receptionist was rude, and the bathroom was dirty and smelled like merde. With four restaurants and outdoor terraces on the very loud square outside, the downstairs Brazilian restaurant had people screaming until 2 a.m. The soundproofing is bad, so sleeping was impossible. It's very cheap, but you pay with your sanity.

The shared shower was spotless and had really hot water. The room was extremely clean too, and the bathroom had no smell. The bath and face towels were clean. Service was great 👍🏾. The only downside was having no elevator, but I'd definitely recommend the place.

Hassan and Reba were kind and helpful at any hour, and even lent me a kettle so I could make tea in my room. There's also a fridge for groceries. My single room was small but well equipped with a desk, chair, and en suite toilet. The communal shower was down the hall, spotlessly clean, and I never had to wait for it. The big window made me feel part of Paris, and a powerful fan helped with the 38° heatwave. I absolutely loved Luna Park Hotel. It's a wonderful budget option if you're backpacking and tired of hostels, with an awesome location surrounded by restaurants and bars. Book through their website for the best rates!
