Hôtel R. Kipling by Happyculture

This was my second stay with a Happyculture hotel, after the one in Bordeaux, and it was excellent. The area is beautiful and felt safe and quiet. It’s a short walk to the metro, and there’s a cafe with desserts right across the street. The staff were so nice and friendly. Rooms were neat and very clean, and there was water and coffee downstairs at all times. Highly recommend staying here.

It was easy to walk to lots of places from this location, and bus and rail transit are close by. The hotel is older, but well maintained, with unique furnishings. I booked a solo room, compact but clean and quite suitable for my short Paris stay. I liked the bathroom and amenities, especially the refillable water fountain and coffee machine downstairs. The area seemed decent, and I felt less worried walking around at night, though you should stay alert regardless.

This was our third stay at Kipling, and we had the best time again. The reception staff deserve a special mention for being so friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well kept, and the interior feels warm and stylish. Thanks for having us. We’ll definitely come again next time we’re in Paris!

Breakfast had a nice range of bread, pastries, cereal, fruit, yogurt, ham, cheese, sausages, and eggs. We stayed two nights with family, using two rooms. Both rooms had comfortable beds and plenty of pillows, and the bathrooms were spacious. Windows in both the bedroom and bathroom made for good ventilation. Staff were friendly, and the location was excellent, within easy walking distance of Montmartre and metro and bus stations.
