We liked the Latin Quarter location and found plenty of restaurants close by. The corner room had a very nice Pantheon view, and the blackout curtains were welcome after a long flight. It was clean, comfortable and spacious, with the king size bed that first caught my eye. Staff were professional and helpful. Breakfast is available for 20 euros and looked good, though there are other choices right nearby too. There's a fridge in the room, and because it's an old building with few outlets, bring an adapter with multiple plugs. The main thing to think about when choosing a room is the shower. Ours had a clawfoot tub, shower overhead and curtain, open to the bedroom, so moisture got into the room. It has charm, but I wish I'd known beforehand. I worried about safety, and it could be impossible for a tall person, an older guest or someone with physical challenges. Our friend's room had a proper shower setup, so check which room you're booking. That's why I gave the room three stars and the hotel four.

This was our second stay, and it was just as lovely and pleasant as before. Isabel, who works in the kitchen, was especially wonderful. Her smile and welcoming presence meant a lot while we were traveling with our toddler. The location is the best, and we'll be back again next time and many more times.

The view from our large windows opened straight onto the Pantheon, just amazing. Our room was clean, stylish and nicely put together, with a good amount of space for this part of Paris and this price range. The hotel also has an elevator and a small, comfortable lounge in the foyer. Staff were friendly and helpful, and housekeeping was quiet and thorough. We loved being in the Latin Quarter (5th Arrond). There's a beautiful bistro and beloungerie on the street behind, and it's easy to reach transport links and walk to most of the main sights.

We had a wonderful stay for our 23rd wedding anniversary. Our room was fabulous, with a stunning view over the Pantheon, and the staff gave us such a warm welcome. The location is brilliant. Highly recommended.

The staff were lovely, and upgrading to room 33 was well worth it for that front view of the Pantheon. My one complaint: there's a coffee machine but no kettle. I ordered tea from reception, and it cost €8, which felt a bit expensive.
