mk2 Hotel Paradiso Nation

My wife and I love getting cosy with junk food and a good movie or series when we have downtime, and this place is made for that. The rooms are laid out with the desk, seating, and bed all facing the screen. There’s a huge single-pane window behind where the screen comes down, with a great rooftop view. The screen spans the full width of the room, framed by red curtains like a cinema. There was already a selection of our favourite junk food in the room, and the room service menu arrived quickly, with everything from healthy dishes to diabetic treats. The supplied tablet was a bit clunky, so we used our own iPad and streaming apps instead. It connected to the projector easily. We had a lot of fun and will definitely return.

Room 44’s street-facing window wouldn’t close all the way because the handle on the right was broken, so nights weren’t as quiet as we expected. The family room was a decent size with enough space for luggage. Each room has its own beamer and Netflix and Amazon Prime streaming. The nearby Metro line 1 station also makes the hotel handy for families getting around the city.

I’m an American travelling through France, and as a big film fan I came to MK2 Hotel Paradiso on a family recommendation. I can’t recommend it enough. It’s in a quiet, pleasant part of Paris, with the Metro less than a five-minute walk away. I stayed in the Suite Cinema. It was spacious, had a fantastic view, and the living room worked brilliantly as a home theater. The Projector is top tier. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and there are lots of amenities for cinephiles and anyone who enjoys movies. 10/10, absolutely recommend.

Watching movies on the big screen in the room is a magical idea, and the rooftop is beautiful, especially at sunset. The hotel was comfortable too, with a great location, good beds, and eco-friendly policies. My stay was badly affected by the deposits that still haven’t been returned: €150 for Room 43 and €100 for Room 45. The staff service also had some shortcomings, but I’d still recommend the hotel as a good option.
