Loved the lively neighborhood. The apartment was spacious, with a comfortable bed and a good shower.

This was the worst hotel of our Eurotrip. It was noisy, and the apartment felt old and cold. The floor and bathroom ceiling need replacing. We had no internet or hot water, and they charged extra for daily cleaning. Taxes weren’t included in the price, so we had to pay those as well.

We ended up with a sleepless night. In one room, the metro vibrations and refrigerator noise were easy to hear. In another, a small dog barked until 2 a.m., and someone sang “Hissez Haut Santiano” late into the night. The street-facing room had ordinary Paris traffic, but the loudest part was people talking outside. We could make out their words clearly. There were two adults and three children in our group. The apartment was clean, well located and came with sheets and bath towels. The entry codes made it easy to come and go on our own schedule. I hadn’t used that kind of check-in before, but found it convenient. The price looked very attractive for six people in central Paris, but I was charged €15 more than the confirmation showed. Then they stopped replying to my emails. That felt like theft.

This is unbelievable. The room I walked into was dirty, didn’t look like the one in the photos, and had several builders right outside the window. My girlfriend and I changed hotels immediately. I reported the problems, even though we never stayed in the apartment, and I’m still waiting for a refund. Can I give less than one star?
