YAYS Paris Zola by Numa

Comfortable place on a safe, quiet street with no traffic. There are lots of restaurants nearby, and it's well placed for getting to plenty of beautiful spots. The rooms are a bit tight, and getting rid of garbage involves too much protocol.

The area was really cute, with nice cafes, fromageries, and a great bakery close by. I loved the location. The apartment was small, especially the bathroom and shower, which could be hard for larger people. The bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen had what we needed, including dishes, utensils, and a coffee maker. I would've liked more space, but otherwise things were good. The virtual key was a cool idea, though it might be difficult for older generations or for travelers without cell service.

A few days after staying at Numa Paris, Room 101, Aug 1-8, 2025, I developed itchy red rashes that kept getting worse until checkout. A dermatologist said they were consistent with bed bug bites. This was the first time in my life I'd been bitten by bed bugs in a hotel. The room was dusty and the cleanliness was far below standard. I reported it, but Numa refused responsibility, saying their inspection found “no evidence,” which doesn't conclusively rule out bed bugs. As a corporate client, I won't book with Numa again. Check your bedding carefully before you stay.

Even though it was near plenty of bars, restaurants, and shops, the apartment was quiet, and the location was convenient for the Eiffel Tower and amenities. But I wouldn't stay again. It was smaller than the photos suggested and not very clean, with floors that seemed not to have been cleaned in a while. I wouldn't recommend it for families with children. We asked about early check-in and were given the impression it might be possible, but access is automated at 3pm. Other guests said this happens commonly, so it's not a good choice if you need an early check-in. We stayed in September and the apartment was very hot. I can't imagine mid-summer. There were two fans, one didn't work and the other was weak, so airflow was minimal, and the place seemed to hold the day's heat.
