Despite providing medical documents, I received a blunt, inflexible “7-day rule” response when asking for a refund after hospitalization the day before the stay. The lack of compassion over a serious unexpected situation felt irresponsible and inhumane. You may simply be ignored, so avoid at all costs. In response to your comment: Hello, Your message contains several inaccuracies. 1. The booking was made, payment was processed, and medical documents were provided. Booking under another name does not remove your contractual responsibilities. 2. You refer at times to a 7-day cancellation policy and at others to a 14-day policy. This inconsistency may violate Article L.121-1 of the French Consumer Code, which concerns fair pre-contractual information. 3. Article L.111-1 of the French Consumer Code protects consumers from misleading business practices, including unjustified refusals to provide services. It also protects our right to leave a review. 4. Article 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights guarantees freedom of expression, including the right to share our experience publicly, even though the trip did not take place because you failed to act diligently. Our review stands. It is based on facts and supported by evidence. Any attempt to censor or publicly denigrate us may be reported. Sincerely,
