The location is quiet and easy to reach from the highway, which makes B&B Hotel Sausehim a convenient overnight break on my summer drives between Belgium and Italy. I come back every year, and the price feels fair for what you get. They let me bring my dog, and the reception staff are warm and professional. On my most recent stay I wore earplugs and slept well, so the doors and other guests didn’t disturb me. The air conditioning that had failed in my room the summer before was working properly this time.

Travel gets easier when the people at the hotel are this helpful. The staff are kind, friendly, and genuinely humble.

Breakfast is served in the reception area, which was the one drawback for me. We arrived late and found nobody at the desk, but there’s a system to get into your room, so that was fine. The room was compact and cozy, with what we needed for a comfortable night’s sleep. I’d still recommend staying here.

A decent low-cost place to stay. The rooms were clean and the staff friendly, though breakfast was only average.

The staff were so friendly, and we had a good breakfast. Slept well too, making this a perfect stop for the night.
