B&B Hôtel Yvetot

Clean and well looked after, with a high standard for a cost-friendly bed and breakfast. Burger Factory is less than 100 metres from the entrance, which was handy. I’d gladly recommend B&B in Yvetot as a very nice hotel.

The breakfast buffet is small, but it turned out to be surprisingly good. There’s a large car park that felt secure, and the room was quiet. It was on the small side, though it had what I needed, and the bathroom was okay. Very basic, but fine for a night’s stop.

Finding the hotel was the one awkward bit, since there wasn’t much signage. Once we were there, though, we had a comfortable night. The place feels new and is very clean, access from the parking area to the rooms is easy, and our double room had a very good bed and an excellent shower. Staff were friendly and helpful. We also appreciated the 15 per cent voucher for the restaurant next door.

The hotel is quiet and very clean, with simple facilities that felt good value for the money. It looks rather plain from outside but is smart indoors, and the staff were friendly. We were greeted at reception, so we didn’t try the automated check-in. There are quite a few things close by, including a cinema, some shops, and several restaurants within 100 metres. We first tried it on a recommendation from someone who used it as a stop on the drive from the tunnel to the Charente, and we’ll stay again on that route. We travel with our cat, who was disappointed there wasn’t a window ledge to sit on. One small snag was that English wasn’t spoken as advertised, but the staff were patient and we managed with my shaky French. That part was my fault, I know.
