We had a lovely stay and the price was great. The room was nice, even if the colour was a bit odd, and the bed was so comfy I didn't want to get up. Breakfast was really good too. Ordering the day before suited us, as we stay in hotels and B&Bs a lot. In the morning they surprised us with two warm, welcome croissants added to breakfast. Thanks! The gentleman made us feel so welcome, and we'll come back, but I'll phone him first and book directly with him. Don't be put off by the outside. Like a sandwich, it tastes a hundred times better inside, just joking. A lovely welcome and stay.

The host was great and the continental breakfast was excellent. Our bed was comfortable, and the place is right by Alnwick town centre, so we didn't need to drive into town or to the castle.

The rooms have colourful decor and local artwork, and the Kiwi owner is friendly and makes a great breakfast.

Such a friendly place, and the breakfast is excellent. You've got to try the green eggs n ham.
