The Asian breakfast was delicious and well worth trying, and the traditional breakfast was good too. The owner and his family made us feel welcome, and were keen to tell us about their home and the surrounding area. I'd definitely stay again.

We were in Blackburn for The Jethro Tull Concert, and Suhel was a very accommodating host when he welcomed us on arrival. There was plenty of tea and coffee in the bedrooms, which were just right for us. For breakfast we picked the Indian option, mango juice and omelette, with tea and coffee, and really enjoyed it. I stayed at Chimney's for over two weeks in November 2012 and had a very good experience. The owners and staff were friendly and accommodating, and made me feel at home even though I was thousands of kilometres away. They also suggested places to visit at the weekend. The location suited me well, about a 10 minute walk to work and around 20 minutes from Blackburn town centre. There were good shops and takeaways just down the street. I saw no sign of swingers or other “red light” activity, despite what the previous reviewer had written. I've travelled widely and stayed in hotels and motels across Africa, South America, Central and East Europe, and this ranks among my best stays. My room was clean, comfortable and well equipped, with everything working. It was vacuumed and cleaned daily, and fresh towels were provided each day. The central heating worked well, and the television had a good range of channels. Breakfast was delicious: juice, tea and coffee, cereals and a carefully prepared full English. Wi-fi was available for a very small fee.

Shuel hosted me for one night, and I really appreciated the hospitality. It was clean and comfortable, a good place to get a night's sleep, and breakfast was amazing. Felt like home. I'll definitely come back. Thanks, Shuel.
