The location is really central, and for the price this has been much better than places costing twice as much. I came on my own with two kids, and having both the inside and outside doors locked at night helped me feel safe. The other guests have been lovely too, and I liked that there wasn't a bar here. The owner is friendly, helpful, around most of the time, and easy to contact. When any issues came up, he sorted them quickly. After seeing a few places with an awful feel, I was relieved to walk into somewhere that had just been done up. The owner let me choose a ground-floor room with a double and single bed, plus a table and chairs. The bathroom's a little small but has what we need. There's a kettle in the room, and a fridge, microwave, and toaster in reception, which has saved us from eating breakfast out every day. I'd definitely stay here again if I'm back in Blackpool.

For what we paid, the room was better than I'd expected, and nicer than other Blackpool B&Bs I've tried. I'd come back for a simple, cheap night or two. There were some marks and scuffs, but they didn't bother me enough to put us off. The little drawbacks were the low beds and the uneven, creaky wooden floorboards. Still, just minor nit-picks for me.

We needed a last-minute few nights away after another place let us down, and the owners made us feel at ease straight away. They were welcoming and friendly, great with our kids, and said to let them know if we needed anything. The room was beautifully clean and tidy, with a smart TV to keep the kids busy while we got ready. Thanks 😊

We were moved after complaining about the first room, which had stains on the bed and grime and marks on the walls and floor. The replacement still had marks on the walls, and electrical wires were exposed in its bathroom. Both bathrooms were tiny, and the shower was cold. The towels were more like tea towels, and the drinks provided were poor. I was very disappointed. If we'd had the choice, we'd have left in the middle of the night. Don't book here.

The bathroom was a bit narrow, though clean, just like the rest of the room. The bedding was lovely and spotless, and I slept really well. The new owner, who'd only been there a week when we stayed last weekend, was very helpful. It's very central, and I'd definitely stay again next time I'm in Blackpool.
