Morrisy House

My room was really comfortable and themed around Stanleys Park. Leigh & Sue were lovely, welcoming hosts and gave me lots of tips for enjoying Blackpool. I had a great day in Cleveleys and liked the tram ride. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, and you can't beat fish & chips in Blackpool.

Our plans changed when the car developed engine trouble on Friday afternoon, so our short family break at Morrisy House Hotel had to be rearranged. Sue and Leigh made it easy: we checked in early on Saturday and extended the stay through Sunday, which meant we could still do everything we'd planned. They were genuinely keen to help us have the break we'd hoped for. The welcome was amazing, and we're already looking at dates for another visit, depending on when Morrisy House Hotel is available.

Room 4 was spacious, airy and always fresh and clean. Breakfast was amazing, and Leigh and Sue were always happy to share useful information with visitors. The BnB is close to South Pier and only a two-minute walk from the beach. There's free WiFi too. We got a friendly welcome throughout and had a lovely stay this week. I can't think of anything negative, they couldn't do enough for us. Definitely worth a visit if you're staying in Blackpool.

The owners were delightful and clearly care about the hotel. They knew the area well, checked in with us when we crossed paths, and were genuinely interested in what we'd been up to. It felt like we could ask them for anything. The room was cold at night during our mid-October stay, though we could have asked for extra blankets. We only stayed two nights, but probably would have if we'd been there longer. Parking on the back street is tight, but the hosts arrange the cars so everyone gets a fair chance at a space. For the price, the parking, walk to the beach and quiet atmosphere suited us as a couple on a tight budget. It was a positive stay, and made our Blackpool trip possible. We wouldn't hesitate to return to MH. Thanks for all the hard work and care you put into making the hotel a good place to stay.
