Chester Court Hotel

We spent two nights at the guest house during a two-day break in December 2024. The room was great, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was delicious too. Hoole has some excellent pubs and restaurants, including a nice micro-pub just a short walk away. We’d highly recommend it.

We had a birthday weekend in Chester and were so glad we chose Chester Court Hotel. The room was spacious, spotless and modern, with a large comfortable bed and crisp linen. The A56 can be busy, but we didn’t hear much at night. Local shops and restaurants are nearby, and the centre is a little further on. The private car park was busy, yet we always found a space. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and greeted us with a smile. Reception checked us in smoothly, showed us to the room and offered tips on local amenities. Breakfast staff were attentive and welcoming, and the buffet was tasty and well cooked. If we come back to Chester, I’d absolutely stay here again.

Ray, the owner, really made our stay at Chester Court Hotel special. He was warm and professional, always ready to answer questions, suggest local places or check that everything was going well. His attention to each guest made a real difference. He’s also fluent in Spanish, which helped my family and relatives visiting from abroad feel at home straight away. That meant a lot to us. The hotel at 44 Hoole Road, Chester, is clean, charming and well placed for exploring the city centre and surrounding area. From arrival, the service was excellent and everything was taken care of. It’s a welcoming, family-friendly, well-run place. Ask for Ray, his hospitality is second to none. We’ll definitely be back.

Breakfast was great, and the place is very clean and comfortable. It’s also handy for transport to the walls. One thing we couldn’t figure out was why the water turned cold when the third person in the room tried to shower. Apart from that, everything was good.
