We're staying here now, and it's been a lovely experience. The rooms are clean, tidy and very well looked after. The hosts are incredible, so friendly, welcoming and helpful. They explained everything clearly without being pushy, and are easy to contact if needed. Breakfast is amazing, really tasty, with plenty to choose from. The location is perfect, very close to the sea and town, but still in a quiet area and building. It's made the stay more relaxing. We'll definitely come back and highly recommend it.

We had a great time at the Cherry Tree Guest House. The owner family were really kind and helpful, and the rooms were clean and nicely decorated. There was a fresh breakfast buffet every day, with vegetarian and vegan options too. We'd come back anytime. Thank you!

The breakfast buffet was fresh, tasty, and extensive, and our room was spacious, comfortable, and well furnished. The host was so welcoming and attentive, with local information ready whenever we needed it. We were also perfectly placed for the theatre, town centre, and seafront. A real gem in the heart of Eastbourne ❤️. We had a fantastic stay, better than we'd expected from any B&B or hotel, and we'll be back. Book early to avoid disappointment!

After finishing the South Downs Way, we were so glad we stayed at Cherry Tree. It's close to the beachfront path, with pubs and restaurants just a five-minute walk away. Our room was quiet and cozy, the staff were kind and helpful, and breakfast was excellent, with lots of choices, including plenty of vegan food and drinks. Would definitely recommend it!

Breakfast was a real treat, with a huge selection for a B&B, good ingredients, and a filling English breakfast that wasn't too greasy. The owners have clearly put care into it. I'd happily stay again for more of those breakfasts. The Cherry Tree is on a quiet street, a couple of minutes from the beach, the trail over Seven Sisters, and a beachfront restaurant. It's about 10-15 minutes on foot into town. There's a sunny garden at the front where guests can sit with a drink. Colin (I think) gave us a warm welcome and showed us around. Since we were in town for a special occasion, they kindly put us in a larger room and left a bottle of cava. It was spacious and quiet, with a lovely bathroom. The basement room had enough light, but there was a strong damp or mouldy smell at night. I couldn't tell whether it came from being on that level or from the carpet. If I were staying longer, I'd ask whether it was possible to change rooms. All in all, a good place to stay.
